Vatsalya International School Introduces Educational Clubs for Students At Vatsalya International School, Borsad, we believe learning goes beyond the classroom. To nurture creativity, confidence, and teamwork, our school proudly launched four exciting clubs for boarders on 24th July 2025 – Spartans Language Club, Eco Club, Art Club, and Dance Club. These clubs offer students the opportunity to discover their interests, express their talents, and develop valuable life skills. Students have been divided into groups by lot, with boys forming three groups and girls joining on a weekly rotation. This ensures that every student experiences the joy of being part of a club. Art Club encourages imagination and creativity. Language Club builds communication and confidence. Eco Club promotes love and responsibility towards the environment. Dance Club adds rhythm, energy, and teamwork to learning. When do clubs meet? Thursdays (4:00 pm – 5:00 pm): Language, Art, and Eco Club activities Saturdays (2:00 pm – 3:30 pm): Dance Club (with students divided into 5 class-wise groups) The clubs began with a warm welcome session, pledge-taking, and fun activities. Each club in-charge maintains records through attendance and feedback forms, ensuring that every activity is well-documented. Through these initiatives, we aim to create a vibrant and engaging environment where students grow holistically, discover their strengths, and learn to work as a team. At Vatsalya, education is not just about books – it’s about experiences that shape confident, creative, and responsible individuals.

On 13th August 2025, Vatsalya International School celebrated Janmashtami with devotion and enthusiasm, organized by pre-primary department. The event was graced by the presence of Swamiji, Principal sir and Vice-Principal sir. The day began with mesmerizing dance performances by our Pre-Primary students. It was a proud moment to see the little ones—who once hesitated to come to school—now performing confidently on stage. Their dances beautifully depicted the childhood stories of Krishna, Radha, and their families, spreading messages of friendship, faith, and togetherness. The festive spirit was enriched with the traditional Dahi Handi celebration. The school campus looked vibrant, decorated with beautifully coloured peacock feather cutouts made by students and a beautifully adorned Hindola of Lord Krishna. As part of the celebration, our teachers brought alive the enchanting childhood tales of Krishna—sharing with students about his divine birth, his loving parents, and even his favourite food. This not only deepened their knowledge but also filled the day with curiosity, joy, and devotion. Swamiji’s presence added a divine touch as he inspired the students with moral values and life lessons. The event also included the prize distribution ceremony for Olympiad winners, motivating students to strive for excellence. The celebration concluded with blessings and appreciation, making Janmashtami at VIS a perfect blend of culture, education, and joy.

Class X students gained real-world insight into “Money and Credit” during a special seminar by Mr. Mohit Kumar Arora, Regional Manager, SBI Borsad Branch. Organized by the Social Science Department, the session bridged theory and practice. Mr. Arora explained types of bank accounts, the role of banks in the economy, and the workings of loans, interest, collateral, and credit terms. Using relatable examples, he highlighted formal vs. informal credit sectors and engaged students in lively discussions on financial literacy. The department’s meticulous planning made the event a success, giving students a valuable, practical understanding of banking and finance.
