As a part of this Cleanliness Drive, we had to clean the whole school and three local points in Borsad. The sweepers of the school had to be the observers. We started our programme from Borsad Bus stand and we deliver a speech to create attentiveness amongst all. Our Principal started the programme by cleaning the corners of the play ground. Then the teachers and students followed suit. Some of us picked brooms and started our job. And others went to the play ground and started picking wrappers lying scattered there. Group of students in two teams visited shopkeepers and made them understand the importance of this drive. We cleaned three points and sweep off the garbage. After collecting them we threw them in to the dustbins available at each square. After doing this job for two to three hours, we all assembled back in the school hall. Thereafter our Principal delivered the speech telling us the importance of sanitation. It was a unique experience for all of us. We were curious to be the part of this great drive that could have transformed the face of our country for ever.

“Learning gives Creativity, Creativity leads to thinking, Thinking provides knowledge, Knowledge makes us Great…. Quiz competitions are always interesting and informative, which provide excitement among the students and also make them aware of current affairs. Vatsalya International School successfully conducted an Inter House Junior & Senior Quiz competition in the school on 18th & 23rd August 2018 for the students of STD IV to STD XI in which four different houses with four fervent participants in each house gave tough battle to each other. Rules and regulations of the quiz were explained at the beginning. It was interesting eleven-round competition, including objective questions with options , buzzer round and audio-visual round, which engaged the students for one and half hour. The students showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions. Though some of the questions were very tricky, the teams tried to answer them with confidence. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing, exciting and made the audience goes ‘Aah!’ and clap when the teams answered correctly. It was very informative and knowledge enriching competition for the participants along with the audience. Vatsalya International School encourages such positive competitions and hopes to bring out the best in all its students through such competitive events, while ensuring that the children learn through all possible ways- not just through books and classroom teaching.
