Glorious Goa

16-09 2019

Educational and entertainment trip to Goa was organised by the school management for the students of class 12. Students were all excited and curious to explore Goa. We left on the 22nd evening by Coimbatore Express, reached Madgaon on 23rd. We visited the famous Baga Beach. Next day we visited Fort Aguada, built in 1612.The lighthouse at this particular fort is the highlight of this destination. Then we visited the Vagator beach. Due to high tides we were not allowed to go on the shore so we took the kids again to the Baga beach so that they can enjoy the cool sea water. Later in the evening we visited the Science City and then went to Miramar beach. From there we went for shopping to a very famous market. On the 25th we went to the Bom Jesus church and Se Cathedral. Kids lit candles and prayed for their future. Next in line was Boat Cruise. We were onboard by 1830 hrs and spent a very good time. Kids danced and enjoyed to their hearts content. On the 26th we boarded the Rajdhani Express at 1200 pm and started our journey towards Gujarat.
Kids enjoyed a lot learnt to be patient and cope with people around.

Janmashtami

31-08 2019

“A gift is pure when it is given from the heart to the right person at the right time and at the right place, and when we expect nothing in return”
These lines are so true with little kids. Their gifts of praise, worship, dance and music are absolute pure and whole.
The students of Vatsalya wait impatiently to celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna. On the 22nd of August, the Pre-Primary section and the Primary section brought in a glorious celebration on the occasion of Janmashtami, marking the birth of Lord Krishna.
What greater gift can the little hands and feet give back to the lord but beautiful worship through sweet dances and the depiction of the Lord’s life through dance. The little ones were all excited to be dressed in the traditional wear of the people from Mathura, Gokul and Vrindavan and give in their best performance. The tiny ones had prepared various art and craft stencils which gave a glorious look to the venue of celebration.
The cultural celebration was out and out a blissful performance given by the students trained by our very talented teachers. It was well appreciated by the Management and the Principal.
Our revered Managing Trustee, Swami Nirlepji addressed the students giving them inputs on the life of Lord Krishna and his great deeds. Surely our kids were blessed through his discourse.

Raksha Bandhan

28-08 2019

Vatsalya family believes festivities and celebration are the hooks that link up the present generation to their roots and their culture without which our children would be simply robots.
In order to inculcate values and a sense of emotional bonding, we the Primary Section organised an Inter-house Singing Competition for classes 1 and 2 a day prior to the festival. It is said ‘music brings life to everything’. So also the songs sung by the little angels added colour and life to the dull cloudy day.
The house to grab the 1st position was the Venus House headed by Mrs. Dipalee Bhoge and Mrs. Swati Gupta.
Trying hard to catch up with them was the Jupiter House, the teachers in-charge were Mrs. Rupa Verma, Mrs. Mallika Kataria and Mrs. Anita Verma.

Independence Day

28-08 2019

Vatsalya family believes festivities and celebration are the hooks that link up the present generation to their roots and their culture without which our children would be simply robots.
Since this year we had Raksha Bandan and Our Independence Day falling on the same day, it was a celebration in double measure.
To pay a tribute to our great freedom fighters and social reformers who sacrificed their lives for the country we had the students of class 3 who put up a wonderful fancy dress performance. It brings us, ‘The Vatsalians, great joy to nurture our kids with the values, tradition and culture of our country.
