Vatsalya – Loving kindness Here we have vouched to train our students towards secularism. So every religion is respected and every festival celebrated. Therefore, come December and we all start invoking the Christmas feeling in ourselves and in our students. Soaking in the spirit of Christmas our students of Vatsalya celebrated the festival of Christmas on the 24th of December, 2019. The school took off with preparing the Christmas decorations, like the Christmas tree, the mistletoe, cards, the santa masks and caps. The students sang melodious carols and danced beautifully to wish their teachers and classmates. The significance of the festival was explained to the students through the musical enactment. The programme was finally brought to an end with everyone dancing around the Christmas tree. The management and Principal greatly appreciated all the efforts put in by the teachers towards training the students not only in singing, dancing and dramatizing but inculcating the feeling of oneness. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the children.

Beautiful, peaceful and perfect is what the students of class 1 experienced on their day tour to the Ravines Adventure Park on the 5th of December. Kids were full of excitement to enjoy with their friends out of school premises. Kids were accompanied by Mrs. Marshila Parmar, Mrs. Rupa Verma, Mrs. Mansi Buke, and Ms. Shivani Vyas. We reached the adventure park and had a delicious and healthy breakfast. The organisers took us on a small trek where kids walked over mounds and knolls and through a forest like area which was also the way back to the park. It was time for some more adventures and to keep up kid’s energy and enthusiasm we took them to the play park which was well set and guided by the organisers. Kids played on various playground equipments. Later, we were served a square meal which kids enjoyed a lot. A magic show was arranged which was loved by kids. By 2 pm we left the park and started our journey towards school. The day was spent detached from the bothers of life.
