Vatsalya celebrated its 77th Independence Day with unprecedented Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav fervor. Our Pujya Swamijis and Principal Sir hoisted the Flag followed by National Anthem, English and Hindi speech that awakened us to uphold the values of Democracy, Secularism, and Unity in Diversity, to ignite Patriotism and instil a sense of pride in our hearts. The Pre-Primary (Salute to Indian Army), represented audacity, renunciation and unwavering allegiance stands as nation sovereignty. The Primary section felicitated our glorious nation, freedom fighters, with their indomitable spirit, who made countless sacrifices to ensure that the generations to come would live in a free India and feel proud for Aatmanir bhar Bharat . Std 4 to 6 highlighted ‘Nation First Always First’ the milestones India achieved the motto: Bharat Jodo Andolan as Gandhiji led Bharat Choda Andolan. Std 7 and 8 focused on Chandrayan-3, scripts a new chapter in India's space odyssey. This momentous achievement is a testament to our scientists' relentless dedication. The nation salute their spirit and ingenuity!" The program ended with Swamiji’s speech which emphasized on Dedicated to the Transformation in every Child.

Spelling competitions are not only exciting but also provide a unique opportunity to showcase language skills. Keeping the same in mind, an intra-house Spell Bee competition was organized for the students of classes IV to XI at School auditorium on 31st July 2023. The competition was conducted in 5 rounds. It aimed at giving students a platform to learn different spellings with their pronunciations and consequently, enrich their vocabulary.
Students participated earnestly in the competition. Their efforts and initiative were appreciated by one and all.

Vatsalya International School, Borsad Anand Gujarat embraces the belief, in knowledge enhancement and enrichment by organizing an enthralling Inter House Social Science Quiz on 28/7/2023. Under Juniors’ standards, V to VII and Seniors VIII to X featured four houses Jupiter, Neptune, Venus, and Mars participated in the quiz comprised of five rounds included Indian History, Civics, Geography, Economics, Current Affairs, Audio/Visual and Rapid-Fire Round. The enthusiastic audience also actively participated and were able to answer by earning well-deserved points for their houses. At the end of the exhilarating competition, Vice-Principal Ma’am and Dean of the School took the stage to motivate and applaud the participants. The Dean declared the final result of Juniors as Jupiter house the winners and in Seniors Neptune the winners. The Social Science department by organizing such intellectually stimulating events, reinforces a passion for learning which was informative and innovative. kindled a desire for continuous learning and exploration, quizzing plays a significant role in fostering critical thinking, and problem-solving and even encourages them to expand their horizons, highlighting holistic education and passion for social science.

Vatsalya International school, Borsad celebrated the birthday of revered Swami Shri Balswarupdas Ji (Chairman, VIS-Borsad) on 8th July, 2023 in the form of Founders day, who is the inspiration behind the success of institution, the man with a mission of making the future of many young talents, the man who is continuously trying to bring the best for the betterment of student’s career.Students showcased their talent in the form of musical enactment, folk dances and mime under the theme ‘Ethnic Mosaic’.
The commencement of program was held at 09.30 a.m., by welcoming and escorting both the Swamijis, Principal and guests to the auditorium of Tulsi Park with school band.
The programme’s theme showcased how to unite and amalgamate various cultures and ethnicities and brings the feeling of oneness.
Students created a feeling, a moment, and a memory that never fade from our mind.
It was such a happy moment when all were together under the same roof and witnessed the oath of future leaders in the form of prefect investiture ceremony.
Swamij shared his words which filled everybody with a ray of hope and positivity.
The celebration concluded with national anthem which reminded us of the power of freedom and bravery.
