“Auctions are fun, just bid it” We, in VATSALYA, don’t just nurture the kids mentally and physically but also help them in understanding social services and etiquettes. Upholding this motive of ours, the student of class XII commerce had organized an Auction for charity programme on 14th of August 2019. The auction was graced by the presence of the dignitaries such as Respected Chairman Swami Balswarupdasji, Managing trustee Swami Nirlepswarupdasji, Principal Sir Mr. B. J. Sekar and the Dean of Academics Mr. Rahul Bhoge. In this programme students came up with their creative art and craft materials made by themselves. Students participated in this programme by making beautiful paintings and things out of waste. These were bought by the students and the entire fund thus raised by selling the things would be given in support to the old age home. This fund will later be used to provide the basic amenities to the old people at the old age home. Students had great fun and experienced a live auction where they could also bid. This charity auction is a good opportunity for the students and the school to come together for a great cause.

Parenting is always an adventure, but parenting a Girl child can often seem particularly challenging: in a time when girls and their parents receive so many conflicting messages about what it is to be a girl, it's hard to know how to guide them to becoming confident, capable women. From the new world of social media to old problems like bullying in the school yard, there are many challenges in growing up and parenting in today's world. To acquaint the parents about these unprecedented challenges, cropping during transition stages, an orientation program was conducted on CAREFUL PARENTING OF A GIRL CHILD by the Sexual Harassment and Protection Committee on August 31, 2019 especially for the mothers of the girls of class V. The session was presided by the girls of classes XI (Dhruvisha Patel & Afrin Shekh) & XII (Prinal Patel & Dhwani Patel) where they provided practical advice to the mothers on how to teach girls to seek out and build strong, positive friendships; express themselves in a healthy way; and stand up for themselves and for others, empowering young girls to be kind, confident, and resilient leaders who work together and build each other up. In this epidemic of stress and anxiety mothers were further guided how to help girls in growing up and balancing their emotions in this stressful time. In this beauty conscious world, girls generally inundate a misconception of starving and maintaining their figures. But the session dispelled this myth further highlighting its far-reaching effects on health. The Head girl provided a series of simple, age-appropriate strategies to help parents how to talk to younger girls about puberty, counter the media messages and open friendly conversations about their personal problems. By doing so, parents can ensure that their girls thrive as they enter the adult world. The meeting sought a loud response and attendance of the mothers who actively involved themselves in the discussion.
